Bid Writer

At Asian Woman Festival, we're in the job of empowering South Asian women and underrepresented genders to be activists of their own future. Through our vibrant culture, conversation and art we smash stereotypes and stigmas South Asian people are often judged by so they can define their own version of personal success. 

 

We're looking for a volunteer bid writer to help us reach even more people by helping us apply for funding.

 

Key activities:

• Researching trusts and foundations that are aligned to our vision and mission

• Identifying grants that we can apply for

• Writing and developing grant applications

• Effectively communicating our mission and programmes to potential funders

• Tracking and creating a calendar of grant deadlines and proposals submitted

 

We're looking for a volunteer who has:

• Excellent writing, research and analytical skills

• Grant writing experience

We're all volunteers at Asian Woman Festival, therefore we're not currently able to provide payment for this role. We hope that we will be able to as the festival grows, but this will undoubtedly be a great opportunity for your personal and career development.
