Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Guests must be 13+ to attend the talks and debates. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

 

 

Do I have to be an Asian Female to attend?

No! Our event welcomes everyone, from every background and yes, men are welcome too.

 

 

Can I arrive and leave at any time?

Yes, you are free to arrive and leave at any point during the festival. We do recommend you attend from the start of the enjoy to benefit from the whole experience!

 

 

Can I leave and come back in?

No, there is no re-admittance once you have left the event.
 

 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You will need to show your ticket either in the form of an email, or in your Eventbrite app, in Passbook, or as paper you printed out in advance.
 

 

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Yes. Each ticket can be used only once and will be scanned to ascertain whether it has already been used or not. (Each ticket has a scannable code on the email, Eventbrite app, or Passbook).

i. By buying a ticket, you consent to being filmed, recorded and photographed at the event as a member of the audience and to footage and photographs of you being used by Asian Woman Festival in any medium for the promotion and marketing of the Asian Woman Festival. Please contact a member of staff on the day if you don't wish to be filmed, recorded or photographed.
 

ii. Views expressed by speakers at the event may not be the views of Asian Woman Festival. Event materials are provided on an “as is” basis and Asian Woman Festival makes no warranty regarding the accuracy or completeness of those materials.
 

iii. Speakers and attendees are subject to change and we do not guarantee that any specific speakers or participants will appear at the event. However, we will always try to find a suitable replacement if one of our key speakers or participants is unable to attend.
 

iv. You attend the event at your own risk. You are responsible for safeguarding your property when attending the event. Asian Woman Festival will have no liability for property lost, stolen or damaged at the event.
