A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented multimedia editor to join our content team, to work in-house with us to deliver engaging video and podcast content. We're looking for someone who is digitally-literate, socially-savvy and has the ability to source ideas and execute high-quality stories. Above all, they are intellectually curious, a creative and nimble thinker, and passionate about producing video and visual stories in innovative ways. Your work will be seen by thousands across the globe, and you will be passionate about empowering women and smashing stereotypes and stigma.

What you'll do:

Work with our creative team to deliver projects from ideation to final delivery
-
Edit filmed footage that can be optimised for different platforms, ensuring content is accessible e.g. subtitles (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG 2.1)

Editing audio from podcasts and interviews

Generate varied deliverables including short films, cut-downs, teasers, trailers, and loops

Create static, print and motion graphics to bring the Asian Woman Festival philosophy to life

Assist in the management of video production, including; storyboarding, scripting, audio, edit and grade
Key Skills: please demonstrate the following in your application
-
2 years+ experience preferred
-
Fluent in all aspects of video production

Excellent knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro + After Effects
-
Ability to overlay music, dialogues, graphics and effects
-
Have a deep understanding of how people consume, share, and engage with digital video as well as having a strong sense of narrative and storytelling

Ideally be an active user (and, ideally, creator) on social media - Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok

Graphic design skills and experience is desirable, please let us know if you have this

If UK based, able to shoot and produce content using varied equipment is desirable

We're all volunteers at Asian Woman Festival, therefore we're not currently able to provide payment for this role. We hope that we will be able to as the festival grows, but this will undoubtedly be a great opportunity for your personal and career development.
